I just bought this tool, I couldn't get one in the UK, it's fantastic, much better than the Multi Contact tool.

I bought my Knipex strippers from them, i too couldent get these in the UK at the time, good service and arrived within a week.

That looks quite good, especially the price. The price of multi contact and other PV tools is crazy. Some of the prices for stripping tools out there is disgusting. £150 quid for a tool thats sold in sparkies wholesalers for a tenner!
I made my own mc3 assembly tool a few years back, I still use it occasionally. An irwin trigger clamp from B and q and some steel tubing. Its not as pretty as the multi contact version but it works just the same. cost about £15 and a couple of hours work.
I think the way things are going the price of these tools is gonna drop a great deal over the next few years now that they are becoming less "specialist".
I have a customer who buys pre-made string cables from me so I might buy one of those and give it a good testing. looks good though.
