MCS - SolarPV is the hard one!

We're expanding into ground source and air source heat pumps, as well as solar thermal, so had the regional accounts manager from our solar thermal supplier pop in to the office today and we went throught what they offered, hows about this:

Send them the spec and they will size and design the plant for free, attend a three day training course covering all the aspects of design, install and commissioning of both ground source and air source technology and the course is fully approved (logic) all for £300.

Plus a free training course on all the elements needed to pass your MCS and a FREE online MCS management system covering all the paperwork and processes ...

So if you're a plumber you're luck's in and if an electrician....

Been looking into them a bit more ourselves and been told very similar!

I guess suppliers are responding to the fact that there is massive disparity between the demand for PV and for heat pumps together with the drop in sales that uncertainty over the RHI has caused. So they feel the need to put in more incentives to push sales harder. I'm surprised that they charge anything for training.
