I was inspired by this thread which showed a heinous injury that resulted in a visit to the A&E for poor Eddiesparks. Just thought I'd open a thread for others to post pictures of their brushes with death and near-misses. Maybe it will help others not to make the same mistakes.

This is not my actual X ray but it is broken in near enough the same place, mine has 3 screws at the bottom and 1 at the top. It took 2 operations for them to get my foot straight as after the first op it was pointing about 15 degrees to the right. walking again just about now.

Them ceilings can be bloody lethal, got a few scars myself from where I have cut my self on them, nothing like that though.

This is my wrist a few years ago, sliced open by a bit of slate but healing well.

I also ripped the thumb nail off that hand with a corkscrew slip which hurt a lot more but no pretty pictures.
