1552 - Yes, Along with other problems.
Now using a Kewtech KT64 with no problems, even if they are seen as the lada of the test world!.

Yes, but as said, only when i've had a poor connection, wouldn't say its a design fault just make sure you get a good connection.
Think its a great piece of kit, but having said that I've only used Robin and Fluke separates before this.

Just to add to this its not tripped the breaker, just says trip on meter.

we have one at work biggest load rubbish i ever used did several ze and zs tests

kept error messaging ie 54 then out of range
insulation tests kept failing ???????

turned out the probe clips had become detached from the connection to the pcb
we had it back even more problems kep tripping out the rcd on 180 no trip etc

gave in now use a newlec yes newlec test set far better copies of the megger stuff more reliable.

slap to head did i say newlec meters were ok off to the heat shrink
