I pulled the black lead out my 1553 today and the whole connection came with it! So basically I don't have a tester, any ideas on who I can send it too to have it repaired at a fair price?
Ideally with a quick turnaround!

calibration centre, stafford. trhey base their charge on what it costs in parts + labour, not a blanket fix all for ÂŁ350 like megger. give them a call.

It's my only complain with mine like you say, they pull forward and have to be pushed back in other wise the sliding cover won't close. I haven't had it pull right out (yet) so will have to be careful!

What about the test meter bloke on here?
