Just had to upgrade from a PAT4DVF/3 as it was on its last legs. Have bought the PAT450 but am having trouble with my Powersuite Professional as it doesn't recognise this meter. We haven't updated the software for quite a while as we resent paying the technical support fee bearing in mind we've used the programme since it first came out and know it inside out but think we may have to bite the bullet and pay out so we can get upgrades so it recognises the new meter. Has anyone else encountered this problem or does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Unless your software has been updated since the introduction of the PAT400 series it will not be able to auto-identify the PAT450 or read the Megger DB data format. There may be a temporary work around, export your PAT data to a USB drive in CSV data format and import from the USB drive to the software. Unfortunately you can't do this in reverse as the PAT450 data import is Megger DB format only.

Thank you for your help Markie. Thought this might be the case, so will have to pay up and shut up on Monday . A licence to print money is what it is, lol.
