Hi people. Just a quick note to say that this is my last day at work until 6th Jan. (not bragging or anything) so just in case I don't get change to post again before xmas I would just like to say that I hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year.
Can't wait to see my kids open their pressies....

lucky sod. i've just placed an ad. in the local free weekly for "on call over xmas." even if i don't get much, i'll save a fortune on booze.

Was originally booked off so I can look after the kids. The the missus tells me they are only off Friday. Day to myself I think... Not according to the missus. Tomorrow will be a good day to replace the alarm panel, which is playing up.

spoon, have you seen the post from a guy in lancs. with a panel heater problem. might be a call-out in it.

I just sit in front of a computer surrounded by blokes (ok most are a great bunch). Dont do call-outs mate.

im on days except Christmas eve and Christmas day ( mostly flir inspections of panels and some equipment repair)
but get holiday premium pay from the 23 to the 2nd
which is ok i can get more for the grand-kids and a bit more booze for me.
