Just like to wish all servicemen and women who are still stuck in Afghanistan a very merry and safe Christmas , thank you for what you sacrifice on a daily basis.
I can't imagine Helmand province being a very nice place to be. But knowing how resilient you guys are I am sure you will keep your heads held high.

Mid 40's now so even if national service came back Ive most likely missed that boat...I have been lucky living in such times and hope my kids do too, my Grandfathers (and grandmother - WREN) on the other hand didn't.
