hi guys
i have a customer who has 70 watt son fittings and wants to change these to metal halides. can this be done without having to change the whole fittings??
can you get fittings that can use both metal halide or son
hope some body can help

I've changed some 250W SON lights to metal halide lights on the same fitting. Just need to replace the ballast and ignitor. If I'm not mistaken some ballast & ignitors could work for both types of light. But I'm not too sure on this.
