i have 16 nos 2000 watt metal halide flood lights installed in a 30M mast.
All controlgears are installed in a separate box at the bottom of the mast.
please help me with the wiring for these lights from the controlgear with minimum number and size of wire.

Welcome to the Forum karuvallil...

Your request is going to be difficult to answer as the forum is based mainly around the BS 7671 (British Standards) and unless we have a member familiar with the wiring codes and practices of your region you may struggle to get an answer, I suggest you consult a local Electrician or Electrical Engineer who will be familiar with your regions regulations.

The control gear itself been remote from the lamp mean that this will most likely have to be specially designed as the cables to the lamp require to be correctly positioned apart from each other and have a much higher insulation value and tolerances than standard power cables, also capacitance of these cables has to be carefully calculated or it can stop the lamp from striking... My advice is get a professional in to design the install.

Would contacting the supplier not be the best move here? I assume they will have indepth knowledge of the gear they supply you and how to wire it up, they may be able to forward some installation instructions or offer advice.

If this company has supplied all the kit to their own design or your spec' then surely it comes with wiring and assembly instructions?
