hi all im currently relamping a store the fitting are 400w high bays all im doing is changing the ignitors and relamping and cleaning. my question is some fittings are giving off white light but some are giving more of a pearl colour its verry noticable on a row. spoke to the rep today and apparantly they take time to settle down and reccomends leaving them for 100hrs to "settle down"
has anyone else come across this before?
thanks

I've not used high-bays myself but had that with disco lights before - the older lights had a lower ct or were dimmer, again making them look a bit of a mess when in a row.
You could get around that by replacing them all at the same time, assuming they will all be switched together.

we had the same kind of problem different lamp colour, manufacturer can make a difference sometimes, best thing to do change the lot :D are they all the same Kelvin rating ?

We were given the old 100 hrs chesnut after changing one lamp supposedly the same colour in a bank of 4....the others were white and the new one was green...(well almost).....Went back a couple of weeks later, well over a hundred hours use and it was best described as slightly less green. Now looking to change the lot.
