Anyone know where crimpers for meters can be purchased? I would be very happy to know as i have lost mine. Thanks in anticipation.

Sorry telectrix, don’t wish to sound facetious but there are various threads about cutting seals (which I assume you are doing), you would of course be crimping a temporay seal, and informing the DNO?
Everyone has got this wrong (my fault). I mean't larger than normal crimpers. EG 16-mm-50-mm. For incoming cables from meter. Not hydraulic crimpers- 240-mm-300-mm. Sorry chaps. We have covered this issue time and time again, may I remind everyone that seals are not there for your amusement, indeed interfering with them may lead to a criminal prosecution with a fine of ÂŁ1000 or up to five years imprisonment. This is due to the fact that certain types are protected under C I T E S along with other creatures such as the barn owl.please dont try to crimp anything to them as they will not like it.:joker:Sorry chaps couldn,t resist.
I got a nice hydraulic one off ebay for about 45 quid goes from 16mm to 120mm
