Anyone know where crimpers for meters can be purchased? I would be very happy to know as i have lost mine. Thanks in anticipation.

Sorry telectrix, don’t wish to sound facetious but there are various threads about cutting seals (which I assume you are doing), you would of course be crimping a temporay seal, and informing the DNO?

what i meant was that the OP didn't say what he wanted to crimp. did he mean crimp ferrules on the tails, or crimp new seals?

We have covered this issue time and time again, may I remind everyone that seals are not there for your amusement, indeed interfering with them may lead to a criminal prosecution with a fine of ÂŁ1000 or up to five years imprisonment. This is due to the fact that certain types are protected under C I T E S along with other creatures such as the barn owl.please dont try to crimp anything to them as they will not like it.:joker:Sorry chaps couldn,t resist.

Everyone has got this wrong (my fault). I mean't larger than normal crimpers. EG 16-mm-50-mm. For incoming cables from meter. Not hydraulic crimpers- 240-mm-300-mm. Sorry chaps.
