Hi all, just a quick question. If you got called out to a consumer change & you found at some point somebody pulled the main fuse to install a henley block to split the tails to fit a small shower cu all done correctly including 25mm2 tails from the henley block to the small cu,but before the henley block the tails from the meter to the block are undersized (not 25mm2 maybe 16mm2).is it the responsibility of the consumer to change these or the supplier,If it is the consumer as supposedly (everything from the meter forwards)what would the procedure to change them because obviously the meters all crimped up apart from cutting these:eek: & taking the front off the meter to get to the tails.Should this be the job of the supplier to upgrade them after a phone call to them
cheers jason

tell them to get there supplier in to change them if thats the setup.
round here i think they charge 30 quid to upgrade to 100amp fuse and change tails to 25mm ;)

It's already got an 100 amp main fuse in place, its just that short run of maybe 600mm of 16mm2 tails from the meter to the block,I think i will get her to ring the supplier & let them do it because about a year ago all the rest of the area had the meter changed to them small digital ones but she must av been out when the come round,so they can do both jobs at the same time, thanks for the replies
