Metrel 3101AT euro test continuity buzzer

Hi All,

We have recently purchased a Metrel 3101At euro test pro kit and so far so good we are very happy with the test unit, however we are unable to find a way of switching on a buzzer in the continuity test setting. Does anyone know if the tester has this option and if so how to switch it on as I can't find it in the manual ?

I would recommend you call Metrel UK technical.

They don't bite, based on my experience!

Is it not just a case of holding down the button with the probes connected together, until the buzzer starts?

Hi

i have spoken to Metrel and they have informed me that there is no continuity buzzer, quite disappointing for the top of the range model !

I used to own a Metrel intalltest and that had a buzzer on the continuity test, it used to annoy the crap out of me!

mft don't usually have a continuity buzzer.

use a voltage tester or dmm if you want that feature
