hi all,
my megger 1552 MFT, is not giving me precise/accurate readings, when measuring continuity.
the digital display jumps all over the place. so i cannot use it.
I called Meggger, they said this is a fairly common proplem/fault with the 1552.
apparently the soldered joints, behind the terminals, where the leads are inserted, can become loose.
has anybody else had this problem?
where can i send the meter to be fixed? apart from megger?
ive been quoted 200.00 including calibration. seems a bit steep to me, for a bit of soldering!
any help or recommendations, greatly appreciated.
