G'day all,

Just started using my new MFT 1553 on a regular basis [what a piece of kit - worth the money just for the auto RCD test facility!].

Can anyone who has one, advise how to get the touch voltage bar graph onto the display - not the best instruction book in the world, it does mention it has the feature but not how to display!

Hi

With reference to touch voltage selection on the the MFT1500 Series:

From the off position, hold down the Yellow test button and switch to any of the on positions, i.e. loop RCD or volts. Keep holding the button until "SEt" is displayed.

Release and repress the test button. The touch voltage is now displayed 25v or 50v.

Each press of the Orange button will toggle the touch voltage between 25 and 50.

Each press of the Blue button will toggle between bar graph on and off.

Once the voltage and whether the bar graph is on or off is choosen then press the Yellow button to lock settings into the tester.

Incidently page 5 of the manual covers this procedure.

Kind Regards
