Discuss MFT1720 missing batteries. in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

The Panasonic Eneloop Nimh batteries have a much lower self diss-charge rate than other Nimh's, I think it's somewhere about 10% in a year, more convenient when your equipment only gets intermittent use.
Any with 'Made in Japan' almost certainly come from the same factory. Ikea batteries are basically Eneloops in different packaging and the have pretty much the same capacity.

'Project Farm' from youtube has had one in a solar light for about 6 years and it's almost the same capacity as new.

Impossible to tell capacity unless taken out of the appliance and re-charged to see how much was put back in, if you have a modern charger it will be fitted with diss-charge charge circuitry with a memory to allow comparison.
