Very nice!!!
They send somebody to do something after my work. To go on the roof and to remove panels and attach them again in the system.
Did they handle from this moment the guarantee on the construction works that my company is done - cabling, attachment of the panels, leakage in the roof and so on.
Who will take the responsibility if something happened after "Enphase" replacement team .
If they take it all - no problem even better. If not, it is a big problem for the original installer and even for the investor, if the both sides say that the problem is not on them.
What do you think?
I agree, which is why we'd prefer to take the installer payment and do it ourselves

As most of you know I am a customer. The reason I got homesun to install my system is if it goes wrong they have to fix it not me.

Being disabled and getting older I didn't want the hassle. If I had owned my system would the installer still be in business 10 years later. I know Fronius give longer warranty period but I bet I would have to pay to remove and fix the new inverter. Or being told the installer failed to pay the insurance policy that would have covered me if something went wrong

We have all been caught out in the money department none payment businesses’ gone bust bounced cheques ebay/paypal scams

I protected myself and get a cheaper electric bills. I just hope electric cars will become normal who knows what will happen in 20 year’s time

And the insurance company from who will ask the money for job needed to repair the system?
And for the next year the cost for insurance will be higher, I think.

You don’t claim on your contents or building insurance you claim against the 20 year insurance policy that you got from the company that installed your solar system. That’s if they paid policy?

The insurance scheme only kicks in if the Installer is no longer trading, and it is usually for WORKMANSHIP only ....

Your missing my point completely

it won’t kick in even if you are given a policy document by the installer but he’s not paid the insurance company

1 apply for car insurance
2 give direct debt instructions
3 get certificate of motor insurance
4 all legal
5 phone bank cancel direct debit

are you covered?
