micromark JP65 bulkhead maintained light.

hi.i'm trying to renew an outdoor bulkead maintained light. it is different in that it has a rechargeable battery pack and therefore i need assistance with the wiring as i am unfamiliar with it.

i used colours for illustration purposes only. my own wiring is red / black and green i hope, the old fashioned wiring colours.

the instructions say "connect the switched live wire to the terminal marked S2 {blue). my guess is that would be the red feed from the mains. then it says..."remove the test link if one is fitted" does this mean remove the wire coloured pink and if yes, can i use this link wire to connect the the mains red terminal to blue terminal ? thanks.

If it is an emergency fitting you will need a perminent feed there-L and a switch live-s2, if you link them the emergency will come on when the ligjht is switched off.
You said it was a maintained fitting so it should have them already?

ahh, i see, it needs a switched and unswitch supply.....

if i fitted the three wires to their respective terminals, would the light work / i ask this because it will nott have a permanent feed. and just leave the pink wire where it is ? thanks again.
