Hi,

i got got asked to wire up a Miele w6073 yesterday, has a 3phase isolator it needs connected to but the flex only had brown, black, grey and Earth cores, can anyone shed any light on what the connections should be?

cheers

No, not at all, I've obviously connected up the corresponding colours, but not working! Do these washers not need a neutral? Simple question really, though I could have explained in more detail, so do please step off that high horse!

It did look as though you were asking what the 3ph colours were in all honesty, I too would have questioned your opening post.

That aside - what terminals do you have at the washer, have you confirmed the power is present, I take it there is no wiring/installation instructions with the washer - If the washer needed a N then I would expect a N terminal with internal wiring connected to it from the washer, does it have one?

PS - this flex, did it come with the washer?

Yes I didn't quite explain thoroughly.
But no, there is no instructions and I can get access enough to see what connections are inside.
the flex was already on the washer when I've arrived but a "labourer" disconnected it.

Another thing with Miele is,; If I remember correctly, is that they have a tilt sensor . So it has to be level.

Was it working before the labourer disconnected it or is it a brand new machine?

If brand new, is it definitely 3 ph, as Miele make single and 3ph in this model.?

Also it needs to be bolted to the floor.
If you can prove 3ph into the machine, that's you finished if it's brand new, you're crossing into warranty issues if you continue.
