a client is getting the keys to there house on thursday not been to the job yet but they want a cooker cable installed asap. He said about mini trunking down the wall (the stuff I hate) I take it's ok to use this in a kitchen as long as it's outside the zones

Definately 300mm or > from hobs etc, but PVC is very water-proof last time i checked me winderframes, so no worries there. No reg to say you can`t install MT2 all around your sink if you fancied it :D
