just been looking at table 2d p104 OSG re minimum cpc sizes for class 3 energy limiting mcb (BS60898-1,-2
confused as to why it states that a
minimum cpc of 1.5mm2 is required for a type B MCB with a fault level < or = to 3kA
minimum cpc of 2.5mm2 is required for a type B MCB with a fault level < or = to 6kA
i understand the 3 ka or 6kA to be the fault rating of the MCB or does this mean where there is a prosective fault current < or = to 3 or 6kA
hope someone can help as i am confused .
