If all you've done is extend an existing circuit, then a minor works is fine. But if you've gone to a sub board, then installed a socket circuit and a lighting circuit, you'll have to do a full sheet and a continuation sheet. How exactly have you fed the socket and light?

I read it as :
FCU in dining room from existing ringmain, supplying 1x socket & 1x light in garden.

This warrants a minor works cert & as you say notifying under part P.

I do however have a question what is the fuse rating in the fcu at the dining room?

If it's 13amp you'll need to change it to 5 or 3amp unless you have installed another fcu between the new socket & light or the light is on a plug lead plugged into the socket.

yeh thats te job! and ive put in 2 fcus for both-1 x13a to protcet everything then to 1x3a just for lites
Have put it all on a minor workd cert i figured that wud be ok and you all agreed Thanks
