Hi folks, have done a repair job on a lighting circuit in a detached garage; a minor works cert is required. Set up is as per this photo (putting aside that an upgrade is recommended and just focussing on this lighting circuit):

Am filling out minor works cert. Would be grateful for a little guidance.

1. I think all items on the cert are with respect to only components from the meter to the garage lighting circuit, ie. nothing to do with the house fuse board?

2. The water/gas/oil equipotential bonding conductor entries are N/A unless there is a water/gas/oil pipe within the garage?

3. The only works that have taken place are on the lighting circuit within the garage. Is the "Main Switch or Circuit Breaker" considered as the 5419 isolator in the meter cupboard or the 5419 isolator in the garage?

4. In this scenario, is the Earthing Conductor considered as from the MET to the meter cupboard isolator (10mm2) or from the meter cupboard isolator to the garage unit (7.5mm2 equivalent).

Thanks loads, SW

Characteristics of source of supply and details of circuit you have worked on only.
2. The water/gas/oil equipotential bonding conductor entries are N/A unless there is a water/gas/oil pipe within the garage?
Yes...but any deficiencies in bonding at the supply end should be noted.
3. The only works that have taken place are on the lighting circuit within the garage. Is the "Main Switch or Circuit Breaker" considered as the 5419 isolator in the meter cupboard or the 5419 isolator in the garage? Not required on a minor works, only the protective device(s) for the circuit you have worked on.

4. In this scenario, is the Earthing Conductor considered as from the MET to the meter cupboard isolator (10mm2) or from the meter cupboard isolator to the garage unit (7.5mm2 equivalent).
Specific information not required on a minor works...only the adequacy and type of earthing need be commented on.
Thanks loads, SW
