just after some guidance here please, what would be the average price you would charge for issuing a certificate ? not taking into account the labour and materials, what is the price (average) for issuing the cert after doing all the relevant tests

I've never actually listed issuing a certificate on an invoice, because most jobs require one. it just gets added to the labour at the end of the job. If its a quoted job, you've just got to estimate the time you think you'll need to test and fill a cert in.

hi
from what i understand, if u get paid or not,, if u don the job,, u must do a cert ,, if u dont hand it over cus they dont pay u ,, thats diff but u got to carry out the test

regards

Same as roukel01, also allow for the cost of the certificate and the cost of the registration of the job with for example with the NIC,it may only be a small admin charge but they soon add up.

Just charge an other days labour for time and paper work i have just gained a job for a part rewire but i have to get involved with EDF that can be a lot of time on the phone and visits to the job witch now makes me think i should have made it two days lol good luck
