guys if you change a light fitting for a better efficiency fitting would you do a minor works certificate afterwards:icon3:






forgot to mention the light was on a click lead

i had an assessor tell me i should have done a minor works
yeh the way i look at it is the circuit wiring was not at all altered as states in part p requirements but the circuit has also been improved

as has been said here already you dont need to cert this as its like for like.....and so we have another assessor talkin out of his botty again....gettin a few of this just recently....
 
i have a few threads to post on assessors "getting it wrong" when an assessor comes to rip you and your workmanship to bits you assume they are correct afterall they are the ASSESSOR!!!!
 
Thing is you only get the assessors comments second or third hand. I'm not suggesting that it's the case here, but do you get the full story? So if for example there's no CPC to the light as MWC would be a good idea to cover you in future incase someone screws on a conductive fitting.
