you can find the plans on adafruit's site

you can buy a kit with all the basic stuff together on ebay.

here is my go at it.

the pcb just had the traces and predrilled ready for soldering

i don't own anything to actually make pcb's

bugger off, soldering iron is not good XD

****ty amtech one, I havent got a maplins local so all I could get without buying online

when I get a decent soldering iron and proper sinps instead of standard diagonal side cutters it will be better.

time to get some decent gear then change it a bit. (4 battery holder and better switch etc)
