Hi everyone,

I am currently developing a meter monitoring product, and I am required to test the product on all of the different electric meters, electromechanical and digital, that are used in the UK. To do this normally would obviously waste a lot of electricity as I am required to run them at a high volume for extended periods of time.

Does anyone know of a way that i could speed up the meters (safely) allowing me to put less electricity through the meters?

Also, as i own the meters any permanent modifications will be fine, but preferably the cheaper the better!

Cheers!

Remove the retarding magnets from an electromechanical type should speed it up a bit.
Usually people want to slow them down
