This is interesting as i was not aware you could install cables buried in a wall outside of the zones? Does earthed mechanical protection change this?

Surely it still needs to be within the zones RCD/Earthed mechanical protection or not?

I was told today, it is earthed S.W.A, earthed metallic conduit and earthed metallic trunking.
