I have an an electric brake on a three phase motor with the attached wiring schematic which is part of a wine press. At first I thought this was the Wye/Delta wiring layout but I am starting to think this is actualy a low/high voltage schematic but they are using the wye/delta symbols. There is no neutral shown on the schematic for the brake nor is there one in the press itself. I am a bit confused at this point.[ElectriciansForums.net] Motor Brake Wiring Issue[ElectriciansForums.net] Motor Brake Wiring Issue

It is both,
star configuration for 400v (3 phase)
delta for 230v (3 phase)
the brake is not mentioned in your pictures, often the brake is fed from a rectifier off the windings so the brake coil is energised and the brake turned off when the motor is powered and is spring activated when power is released.

I have 208V Three Phase. The brake is wired directly to the terminals inside the motor wiring box. Thanks for the info on the star for higher voltage and delta for lower voltage. That is the answer I was looking for.

208v might be a little low for that motor, if it is loaded anywhere near its maximum rating, i would expect it to overheat.
