Mounting Plasma TV?

Hey all,

Got a client who would like there TV mounted on the wall but wants the cables concealed.

Any ideas on methods of hiding cables but looking smart?

Just worried about if scarts need changing etc.

Im just in the middle of doing someones living room but theyve studded there wall and iv put 2x2' trunking in the wall so that the scart can be removed whenever?

Are they wanting this done without mess? Probably almost impossible id imagine.

depends on how far to the kit,i done mine last year,chased cables in and plastered,id also run in a coupe of hdmi cables too,you can get scart and hdmi any length,but there not cheap when over 3m for decent cables

just done one this week finished then customer wanted it moving to different wall
socket and aerial moved behind tv with 4" trunking buried in wall, i use dry line backbox with brush faceplate at each end to finish off you need to cut top section out of backbox to allow cables to be drwn in/out easily.

theres a "trunking" cant remember what it was called was at Ross/neweys it was decorative rounded I did my m8s plasma with it looked ok

I did one the other week behind a false wall sky come in and run his cable in line and touching the radial for extra sockets I'd jus installed. I told him about cable but he said its ok because they are shielded and no body will talk on these lines anyway. Well trained those sky lot not!

thats the stuff theres even nice small stuff for speaker cable that can go along top of skirting n looks smart

that looks ****in awful, would rather park a donkey in the corner of the room than put that rubbish in,

on a more helpful note, chasing and burying the cables is the way forward on this me thinks
