Hi everybody!
I'm wondering are you happy with Aico easy-fit base? I like nest style much more, but they are not compatible with bs5839-6.

I'm wondering why aico didn't put something nest-like agains what do they have today. Here is the example of what came to my mind - Would you use a WAGO 221 CEILING ROSE? (starting from 3rd min)

The standard aico base is not bad

Obviously anything else non-standard used as a base has to avoid draughts circumventing the smoke head

You probably mean aico manufacturing a better base ,?

They were definitely a pain if you had to triple up on wires

I do like Aico kit but they terminations can be a bit fiddly, especially when up a ladder. Push in type connections would be much easier.
