Hi,

I have been asked to move CCU. It is skeleton board in mantel unit. In that box are coming supply cables. Could you give me an idea whom should I contact to move that supply cables, how much does it costs and how much does it takes.
I never done it before.

Thanks

am i right insaying that you are in flats? ive only ever seen skeleton units in tower blocks. if so, then the submains belong to the landlord. I dont see why you cant put a switchfuse(if needed) in place of the board and then add tails to new position. HOWEVER, your landlord may have a problem with you jointing to his cable other than in CU.

No, it is not in a flat. It is a private terraced house. I saw it first time as well.
They want to move it because they want remove part of wall where is mantel unit now.
