How ply-able is the main incoming cable to the head in a house? Myself and my dad moved one 2 meters once and if i remember correctly the outer sheath was lead but this was under floorboards where as the one im asking about is concreted in so will need to be gunned up........anyway a job has come up which i am going to look at at 11am this morning with my father inlaw and where the ccu, meter and head are situated in an understair cupboard the lady wants to put a door so the afore mention ccu, meter and head need to be repositioned to allow for said door.

Slightly off topic but if a customer wanted a gas meter moving I have the number of a nice chap who will move/connect for 250 quid.

He works for one of the Gas contracting companies and does it on the side. Makes you chuckle though. Hes been doing it for as long as hes done it for a living a never had any comebacks from anyone.

I wonder if there are any 'bent' DNO workers out there doing the same?

There was one got caught recently and is now in jail I believe
