Hi all

customer has asked me to move a air con programmer for him, its the usual one you see everywhere just never fitted one

looks like its just two wires as i lifted the thing off the wall.

do i need to disconnect anything or is it just a case of cutting off and moving .

cheers

Not sure what you mean Grand, cutting off and moving. You will need to disconnected the cable at the controller, move to the required position and reconnect, I'm sure this is what you mean.

Controller will be wired back to indoor unit. Indoor unit can be either power fed from outdoor unit or have its own supply, either way needs to be powered down before un-doing cables.
Cables can be extended but often the temp sensor is in the controller so it still needs to be sited appropriately.
