hello chaps

just moved house and doing a bit of redecorating and wanting to move some pir's over a tad and strip paper from behind etc. now not being an expert in the alarm field am i right in saying if i put my alarm into engineer mode '9999' code i believe, would this allow me to undo said pir's from wall without the tamper switches going off and screaming the place down. the alarm is an accenta g3 i believe.

what would the procedure be here, previous house holder didnt leave any alarm instructions so im guessing put my four digit code in followed by engineer code then start unscrewing, with plugs in ears!

thanks in advance any alarm engineers out there
