moving storage heater

Hi

I've got a storage heater that was connected to the main wiring via a junction box. The junction box wasn't connected to anything else, I think it was just used to extend the main wiring when the heater was fitted originally.

With the heater in its new location, I now have too much cable so I'm assuming I can dispose of the junction box and extra length of cable between it and the heater and just connect the heater wall switch to the main wiring? Sounds simple to me, but just want to be sure!

are you an electrician? All sounds a bit vague to me to be able to comment on.

Your not an electrician,otherwise you wouldn't ask, yes you can do as think however call in a sparky that can do the work correctly and test the circuit etc.
