Hi everyone,
A few questions regarding ground mount systems. If there is a schueco Tech support for this or a wholesaler that knows anything about these systems please advise their contact details as i have been unable to find anyone useful. These questions relate to a 10kWp system in two seperate 10m(ish) arrays.
Installation manual for the Schueco MSE system refers to a 'survey of soil conditions/ pile inegtrity test' and also this: 'To prevent deformation of the support posts, the ram head must match the contour of the post.'
My questions are these:
1 Do they publish a depth for different soil conditions? / what depth would be required for a site that is 'pretty shaley' on a moor if 'pretty shaley' is suiatable for this system at all. which leads on to...
2 Would we be better off with the 'plinth' ground mount system and if so what is the required depth of pinths?
3 Do they provide a ram head that matches the contour of the post as required? The post contour looks fairly bespoke to me not being someone who is regularly involved in pile driving. (sadly )
