Hi Peter,

I also was looking at the Metrel MI325 but the Bluetooth version as it has optional extras like earthing spike testing, easiswitch adaptor etc. Also the BT version can store the results in memory + a few other extras. Test meters do it for ÂŁ714.00 - 5% as your a member here which is over your budget you mentioned.
I found a new one ie the bluetooth version on Ebay ( sorry Test Menter no disrespect meant )for ÂŁ394.99 but I dont have the funds to get it so I thought I let you know in case you want it?

Hi,

I actually purchased my first MFT last week (after completing my 2394/5 last year) and went for the Kewtech KT63 as I only carry out domestic work at the moment. It was ÂŁ440 inc VAT and after reading a lot of positive reviews I decided to go for it.

I have carried out 2 domestic initial verifications with it so far and cant fault it what so ever. I will probably upgrade to something else eventually but for your 1st MFT its great.

hope that helps!

What kind of installs are you doing?
Talk to our forum sponsor, testmeter.co.uk . You get 10% off just for being a member here and you'll get good advice.

I ordered a R2 wander lead off them last Monday, called Friday and the guy first of all said "oh that's odd we have them in stock let me check" comes back, "we are waiting for them to come in should be with you Tuesday" me thinks someone forgot to process the order lol
