multi-gang junction box

A customer has complained to me because I have used 5 junction boxes to extend cables to a new consumer unit one metre away from the original position. She says the boxes are ugly and spoil the aesthetics of her garage (Please don't ask me why). She says there should be a way of combining the five boxes into one multi way unit that would be better looking. Has anyone ever come across such a product easily and cheaply available? I know I could make a wooden box for her and just use connecter strips to connect the cables and she would know no better, but if something is available commercially it would save me a lot of time.

Gewiss type plastic box, available in a variety of sizes. Din rail screwed to back of box and klippon din rail connectors.

PVC adaptable box with compression glands and connectors of your choice ? Some boxes have facility to mount a din rail in them for din rail mounted connectors if you want to keep everything neat inside.

I too have always wondered as to weather you can buy plastic boxes....and you can.....amazing! My life will be so much easier from now on.

From the box to could continue to the CU with trunking so everything is concealed.
Or use through crimps in the trunking and do away with the box.

As Tony says, through crimp the cables and enclose in 50mm X 100mm conduit.

I would love to have seen your wooden box setup, I don't think it would comply as an enclosure as it is a combustible material.

Who mentioned PVC? Electrical enclosures are made to be non combustible, they will burn but will not self support a flame
