Hi Guys

Im after not so much a multi functional tester eg the 600 odd pound RCD, IR testers.

Im after a a meter that does Continuity and Will act as a voltage indicator. I want it to comply with GS38 and want it to be a good piece of kit.

Im really stuggerling with this dont know exsaclty what to look for. if anyone can point me in a good direction that would be ace.

if it's a dmm you want I would say go with a fluke. They are solid, we pretty much only use flukes at work. I have a fluke 287 which is pretty good. More capabilites than I need so will seel it soon. But they go on trials and bet bashed about a lot and never have problems with them. But thats for electronics based work. For electrical I would say the t5 voltage tester as above
