hi im looking to buy a fluke multimeter for boiler faults i was thinking of getting the 116, is this the meter i should be buying or are there cheaper flukes that will do the same job, thanks in advance. ps should i avoid ones from china off ebay?

the 116 is a good meter for boiler faults as it can quickly troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipment and flame sensors (rectification) et al, its also got an auto ac dc sensor as to avoid errors, ive got the 115 but the 116 is much better suited to what you want

as regards to ordering stuff from china, im still waiting on a TFT laptop screen and a 16gb SD card which i ordered in November last year from china, so order within europe if you can bud
