Hi all,

I have decided to build a brand new multiple choice exam simulator for the 17[SUP]th[/SUP] edition exam. It will replace the current one on the website, which is not the best and will be available freely to everyone.

I just need your opinions on something please, which version would you prefer:

  1. Submit answers to the questions one at a time. By doing this you would see if your answer was correct or incorrect imidetly before advancing to the next question
  2. Submit all the answers at the end of the exam. With this option you would get a pass or fail result and the ability to go back and review your answers in order to see which ones were correct or incorrect.
Obviously the b) version is more like the real exam. But the a) version in my opinion helps with learning, althought it can be anying to have to submit every single answer one by one.

I really can not make up my mind which version to go for... Any advice or help would be much appriciated.

As it's an exam simulator then option 2.

Could you not give the user a choice in the software ie they can select either Study Mode (option 1) or Exam Mode (option 2)

Also randomise the questions & answers order

Hi, Thanks for repply. Good idea, but I can not do this at this point. My programing skills are not the best yet. :) Mybe in future versions.

Option 2. You should be running a timer to test that the exam is completed within the set time limit otherwise it is of little use.

Even my wife passed the 17th - and she is a plumber.
