Has anyone experience and pitfalls of the time and information required to apply for a G83/1-2
i have a client wishing to install 4 ground mounted systems near cottages he has.
They are all fed from the same transformer and there is no other PV systems on that transformer
Each cottage has an individual MPAN number.

Time is obv ticking and i am dealing with SP networks and i am concerned they kibosh the plans.

i have all the kit just need approval prior to start

if its off one transformer i rec u mite find them saying (new tranny )ÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁ BUT not sure!

just spoke to them today and sp networks were surprisingly helpful. I asked i am sure you are under a lot of strain but what are your timescales for application, oh the same as its always been and that wont change two weeks for G83 - 2 and 45 days!!!!! for G59. There goes the bigger system up the spout

Make sure record all the conversations with SP and the names of the peeps you speak to - they lost our application for G83/2 sent in 4 weeks ago last week. Eventually agreed to rush it through and when they looked it up it was already on the system - they'd already approved it. 1 hour earlier they were adamant they hadn't received it and we were looking at a significant delay.

They sorted it eventually and they are under pressure but be careful and keep notes it'll help if it gets lost.
