multiple round pin sockets on single light switch

Hi,

Just about to start refiiting kitchen.

Going to install interlinked plinth lights in three areas. Is it acceptable to effectively create a radial circuit of 5a round pin sockets from the switched live feed of a light switch?

I am thinking of wiring in plinth lights and undercabinet lights in the kitchen, switched from the light switches.

These are in 3 distinct areas, so was thinking of installing 2 sets of 3 round pin sockets, with each set switched from the light switch. I could then wire in the 12v power supplies to each socket.

Yes I do - it would be wired as per a standard light switch

Really. Not all switches have neutrals - in fact I would estimate that 85% don't

I am rewiring the switch as part of this work so there will be a neutral
