Can someone keep me straight here. I am involved in a building conversion where seven small 0.9kw systems are going on the roof, one for each flat. One thought just struck me. Will they all work? The building has a common supply which then feeds each flat which has its own incomer, meter and CU.
The systems put out a voltage a little above the incoming. However, any export from one system will flow to an adjacent flat, meaning in theory its incoming voltage would then equal the output voltage of the inverter supplying that flat. Would this not have a similar effect to excessive voltage drop from an inverter on the AC side?
I am sure I am missing something here. Can someone with more experience help me out on this one please?
