Came across this question and have no idea how to answer it any help would be appreciated,

Two coils have a mutual inductance of 1 Henry, if an emf of 1 volt is induced in one coil the

A Voltage in the other coil reduces to zero
B Self inductance of the other coil varies at 1 Henry/second
C Current in the other coil varies at a rate of 1A/S
D Current in the other coil is constant

Are you looking for the formula e=blv.Take a look at this link mate.

you need the definition of mutual inductance which is " a mutual inductance of 1 henry exists between 2 coils exists when a uniformly varying current of 1 amp/second in one coil produces an emf of 1 volt" it leads to the equation
E=- M(delta I)
, time

where delta I is the change in current - not that you need it once you have read the definition.
