Just done a search on this question and couldn't find a comparable thread.

Done 2 different jobs this week and starting the paperwork, and I'm thinking using MWC for the 2 following jobs:

1) Change 16A B type MCB with C type - changed infra red heater in a church with a new 'patio' heater - instructions recommended C type (B type did trip occassionally)

2) Replace old Earth Leakage Breaker (between meter and CU) with 30mA RCD - I know about 314.1 - but this is an interim 'fix'

As I see it using MWCs as these were only alterations to an installation.

Anyone disagree? Somewhere I think I read that changing overcurrent device needed an EIC but can't find reference to it!
