This week's mission is to build a gsm monitor/alarm for a pump house.
It needs to monitor 3 mains circuits, 2 borehole controllers and 2 tank levels.
 
Several ways to do it.
Would love to see the finished result.

When you say GSM do you mean the tele-network type? Is it the radio signal type or something?

If so, how do you end up connecting to it to check? Or would it let you know somehow if something went wrong?

(I will follow this thread for sure - would also like to see the finished article)

Yes gsm as in the cellular network, so it will send a text message or call a number when a fault is detected.
