Hi all, my first post and a brief work history.
Did my first rewire at 15 during my last year at school (1978), bought a book and learnt how to do it lol.
Did the CITB test and got placed with a local JIB firm doing commercial & industrial, full 5 year apprentiship.
Since the been PAYE & S/E, back doing S/E again lol. Not breaking any records !!!
Can not believe the cost of rewires these days, (used to do 3 bed semi,s for £400 in the mid 80's , 4 days and made a good wage !). Really enjoy checking out the forum for info'.
